Winning as well the 2007 CILA award for “Best Sportswear” category in New York City, named Miami Icon Designer and carried by more than 1000 high-end boutiques Nationwide, and Internationally.
Renowned for her handiwork with luxury knits, she has been celebrated as an exclusive leader in the mesh contemporary market. Her brand, not only represents her lifestyle, but reflects the power of women, and her designs are like an empowering layer of skin. Ageless!!!! And her true DNA is how she presents prints, and color stories, mixed together.

Recognized as one of the most fashionable women in Miami, Viviana G has made guest appearances on numerous television shows including CALA on CNNEE and interviewed by Ismael Cala, NBC South Florida Morning Show, Univision’s Despierta America, and CNN NotiMujer. In 2015 she became fashion consultant and stylist for Vida Mujer and Despierta con Zoe at Univision’s Chicago. She was featured and interviewed by Vivian Van Dijk from Eyes in Fashion, an award winning magazine that highlights “the minds of the world’s most innovative creators”.
After a year in Boston/Amherst University, she was accepted by Parsons School of Design in New York graduating in 1984 among luminary names as Marc Jacobs, Isaac Mizrahi and Tracy Reese. While in Parsons she went to Paris to study French Contemporary Fashion obtaining her certification. Dedicated herself to fashion, Viviana Gabeiras not only designs, but has taught at the University of Art & Design in Miami and continues mentoring young designers while proudly supporting a “Made in USA” attitude by producing and fully running her own manufacturing company in Miami, along with her husband and partner for 35 years, Rafael Gabeiras and her 3 sons. Her entirely straight forward approach towards her business is what makes Viviana Gabeiras an exclusive leader in the fashion field.
She has brought excitement to Miami’s fashion world showcasing her collections on the runway while setting trends and inspirations for many; winning Best Pret-A-Porter Style Award in Miami Fashion Week 2012, and making headlines during the inaugural Petit Pois driven, “Top Real Women in Fashion” honoring industry role model women, in collaboration with Miami Fashion Spotlight News! An event that created headlines as the most fashionable night in South Beach during Swim Week, simultaneously earning her the honor of Women in The Arts Miami’s 2013 Iconic Woman of the year! While also naming her top designer, and leading her to receive The Humanitarian Award as “Icon Designer” of Miami in 2013. In 2014, while showcasing at Miami International Fashion Week, she won the sponsorship from Eastern Airlines top 5 Designers to present and create the new flight attendant uniforms on the runway.
Known also for launching and creating the brand “Sweet Pea”, she has kept herself relevant in the fashion business with her company and her work. And this year 2016 she was honored by Miami Life Awards receiving Best Designer of The Year 2016 on its 10th Year Anniversary.
She continues making headlines with her two brands: The Premium Label “Viviana Gabeiras” and her Lifestyle Label “Petit Pois by Viviana G” and uses her public figure to help numerous charities while fighting to support the recognition of Miami’s Fashion Designers! She is a Board Member for Fashion Group International of South Florida and a role model for young girls, not only as a designer, wife and mother but as an entrepreneurial woman, promoting, empowering and helping influence real women.
