We had the opportunity to cover guest poser IFBB Pro Joshua Foster (2016 NPC Wheelchair National Champion). Here is what Joshua had to say.
On March 30 2013 on my way home from seeing a friend . My car hydroplaned out of control and hit a tree on the passenger side. I wake up in the hospital to the bright lights and it wasn’t heaven. I broke my T10 vertebra and severed my spinal cord. It was a heartbreaking moment but somehow I found a spirit to work hard and get better fast. I often fakes a happy face to keep people from asking to many questions. It’s just became real!! After only 27 days I got out of the hospital. I started working out as soon as I got home. Small progress for sure but I was just active. I was around people and I felt better every week.
In March of this year I competed at wheelchair nationals bodybuilding and won the overall out of around 22 other men. I’m now a pro and I travel posing and telling my story ! Just a happy dude that believe in hope.
