Zentient Arts is proud to announce that the EMILIA documentary has been Selected For Screening during the 51st Annual WorldFest-Houston! The documentary is also a Remi winner. As more than 1,500 Short Film category entries were received and only about 15% are honored by winning a Remi Award. And only about 1% of Short Film entries are Selected for Screening! Congratulations to the director, Luis Perez-Tolon as you have now joined the ranks of Spielberg, Coppola, Lucas, Ang Lee, the Coen Brothers, David Lynch, Randal Kleiser, John Lee Hancock and hundreds of others as WorldFest-Houston Remi Award Winners.
The 51st Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival will be celebrated from Friday, April 20th through Sunday, April 29th 2018. Ten Great Days in April! The Festival will present 75 new USA Independent and Foreign Films, plus 120 shorts. Over sixty countries are featured. There will be daily film screenings daily at 5:00pm, 7:00pm and 9:00pm, except for Opening Night on the 20th of April, when the Opening Night Premiere Film will be screened at just 8:00pm. The Opening Night Gala with The Mariachi Continentals begins at 7:00pm. On Saturdays & Sundays, the 21st, 22nd and the 28th & 29th – there will be extra screenings of short and student films at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, and extra screenings at 7:00pm & 9:00pm in the new Memorial City Cinemark Theatres. Almost all films are presented personally by their directors, with a Q&A session after the screening.
